M.G.L. este invitat în cea mai recentă ediție a podcastului „Aproximativ discuții” cu Gojira, în care discută despre: Cum l-a influențat faptul că și-a petrecut adolescența în Anglia, Muzică, Planuri de viitor, Peripeții din viață personală, precum și alte subiecte tari.

Mătăsaru Leonard George, cu numele de scenă M.G.L., este un tânăr artist talentat, în vârstă de 21 de ani, născut și crescut în Galați, care și-a început carieră în anul 2017.

Inspirat de rapperul american Pop Smoke, a creat muzică la foc continuu, cu fiecare single lansat oferind o calitate superioară celui precedent. La începutul anului 2021, artistul a debutat în industria muzicală românească cu o piesă despre orașul lui natal, intitulată "Galați", prin care a reușit să se facă remarcat la nivel național în lumea hip-hopului românesc, abordând un stil de drill new-yorkez. În urma succesului acestei piese, a urmat și un remix al ei, lansat la casa de discuri "Seek Music", în colaborare cu Nosfe.

Cu piesa „Cine te crezi” a reușit să ajungă la urechile publicului românesc, atingând peste 150.000 de vizualizări pe YouTube în mai puțin de o lună de la lansare. "Contact Fatal” a strâns în prima zi peste 200.000 de vizualizări pe YouTube. Astfel, M.G.L. alături de ZIOAN, producătorul care a creat instrumentalul piesei, a intrat pentru prima dată în trendingul muzical românesc.

În urma impactului pe care l-au avut piesele lui, M.G.L. a fost numit "drill king" de către ascultătorii lui, devenind "chipul" drillului din România.
